Private calendars are designed for events, such as anniversaries, renewals, family sports events, and business events, that you may want create and share with family , friends, team members, and colleagues. Annual repeating events can be entered once and Caltrics will automatically create the next annual iteration.
Private calendars are free of charge. Subscribers can create and share up to 3 Private calendars.
How to CREATE a Private calendar
- LOG IN to your Caltrics account
- ‘Mouse’ over your email address/name and click ‘MY CALENDARS’
- Click ‘Create a personal calendar’
- Under Settings, give the calendar an appropriate name.

- ‘Click on the Calendar Defaults icon (default values for this calendar events). If this calendar is going to contain annual recurring All Day events on the same day, tick the ‘All Day‘ checkbox, and then the ‘Annual‘ checkbox. If the events repeat annually, but on a different date, tick the ‘No Date‘ checkbox as well. Click the ‘Save‘ button.

- Click on ‘Events’ tab
- Enter event details (You can ignore Event tag, Controls, and Meta Data).
- Click on ‘Save’.


How to SHARE a Private calendar
To share your Private calendar with others, you can email an invitation with a link to the calendar.
- LOG IN to your Caltrics account
- ‘Mouse over’ your email/account name and click on ‘MY CALENDARS’.
- To the right of the your listed calendar(s) will be 2 icons. Click on the envelope icon (invite others to subscribe to this calendar).
- Email addresses can be added individually, or you can import a list from an Excel or csv file (Column headings in Excel – email, fname, and lname (all lower case). Only email column required. Save as
- CALTRICS INVITATION (calendar ownership/Editor group required) – Log into Caltrics and go to MY Calendars/MY Calendars. To the right of the calendar name, you will see an envelope icon. Click on this and ‘Import email addresses from CSV or Excel. Column headings format in Excel – email, fname and lname (all lower case). Only email column content is required. Save as Excel/CSV, and close file before importing. Email addresses can be also added individually. Add your ‘marketing’ text and generate an invitation to subscribe to the calendar. The actions of the addressees can then be tracked by looking at MY CALENDAR INVITATIONS.
